Looks like this game has the same bug as mine had. The sound on web gets softer and softer until you can't hear it anymore. You can fix it by duplicating the sound from a second saved sound file every now and again.
that's good to know, thanks! i tried changing the sound in a bunch of different ways (adjusting volume, increasing clip length, changing the beep) but nothing helped. but curious to try this
really enjoyed this! great rhythms and great fun gameplay!
especially love how each direction is a different drum sound and you can make your own rhythms to the beat
ah this is wonderful to hear! glad you liked it :)
love it, rhythmic game, my style.
hell yea!
love the game design of this, and the animations are top notch!
came back to add: level with cars is so flex! while it's quite similar to busy office guys one (total chaos, difficulty is ~same i guess), but because you are dodging cars now you feel the stakes are higher and dancing between them feels as a proper end game :)
thank you, i appreciate this!! and glad that last bit felt like an 'endgame' :) i found the car one actually to be a little easier than the office guys one when testing, but that it seemed a lot more menacing!
When I saw this in the GMTK video I knew that it will be super hard, but that I still want to try it. Great art, theme , and style. Was not Disappointed
thanks! glad you enjoyed :))
you did a great job nailing the art
thank you!!
very cool game!! congrats on the win! i think i found a bug: i got
in my run because i used restart to the level to get good result(to get the best i could in every level) and probably it added to my score more times than it should've. i think you can maybe fix it like that: add the score just if the player presses skip otherwise don't.
hope it helps!!
ahh that's interesting. i think we wrote the code in a way where it shouldnt add the code more than once, but we'll have a look into it. thx for the feedback!!
So good!!!! I think it would be cool if it replayed your path on loop before you hit the next level button
agreed, thatd be dope!!
This was so peak! got a final score of 8195!!
glad you enjoyed! and awsum that u made it till the end :)
Awesome game! Congratz on the win! My score is:
hell yea, thank you for playing! congratz on ur score!! !
Amazing game! I love your art style! :D
thank you!! glad u liked it :)
I thought this would be super difficult, but it turns out I wasn't trash at it! The one with all the businessman was the toughest one for me. Also, love the way that the dude keeps dancing after beating the level. Pure rhythm-based dopamine. Somehow, I got a lower score of 8484 on my 2nd go at walking opposed to my first 8513. Anyways, loved the game!
thank you for playing and the kind words, i rly appreciate it! :)) and good job on winning (twice!) it definitely gets pretty hard in the last couple of lvls!
awesome game cause i won
well in tht case sounds prty awsoem 2 me
ballinm!
Fantastic Game!
thank you!
Incredibly spectacular good game, I love the art style but I also have a chronic skill issue so I couldn't enjoy it past level 8.
thank you, rly appreciate the feedback! And yes, it definitely ramps up in difficulty there. Ideally we’d need a more distinct visual indicator for the beat
maybe like a bloom pulse on the headphones that grows to full color on the beat so you can see the wind up, in a color like red/blue/green. Could change depending on the level, tempo, setting.
Such a sick game btw, really cool stuff.
You should consider a steam drop with some slide notes or something, just really cool project.
that's an interesting idea using the headphones as a visual indicator! and thanks for playing, rly glad u liked it!!
